The Seven Sisters  (6.15 miles - Cross Country)

Cliff Views
Cliff Views

This is a lovely route to run on a sunny day, or failing that on a day with good visibility. An easy to follow route which follows an undulating wooded path on the way out and then returns via four of the magnificent 'Seven Sisters' on the South Coast.  For this point running over the downs becomes a 'roller coaster' of a run and there are fine views of the chalk cliffs. There are 2 car parks at The Seven Sisters Country Park which are pay and display so don't forget your change.  Here there are toilets and a cafe that is open during the summer.  Alternative N.T. parking is shown on the map.  There is also bike hire and a visitors centre (summer only).  There are a couple of stiles that do not have 'dog holes' and dogs should be on leads when sheep are roaming over the downs.  Not surprisingly it can be very blustery on top of the downs.
