Aspire Running Events Ltd are very pleased to announce another inaugural event…  Cattle Country Adventure Park 5/10k plus Family Fun Runs event on Sunday 24th April, 2016.

It is with regret that we have to inform you that all the childrens races.. ie: 50m, 1k and 2.5k events are now FULL.

We are so sorry but this event isn’t Canicross friendly.

Prices:

10k – Affiliated £12 Unaffiliated – £14 (15 years and over welcome to enter if running with a responsible adult)
5k –   Affiliated £10 Unaffiliated – £12 (12 years and over welcome to enter if running with a responsible adult)
2.5k – £6 (All ages and abilities)
1k –   £5 (All ages and abilities – (Parents/Carers are welcome to run with their child/children free of charge)
50m – Free Under 5’s only race

We will using the overflow car park for this event.

Registration will open at 9am for competitors to collect their race numbers. This will be held in the large marquee (Signposted from the car park)

Race times are as follows:

50m – 10:00am
1k – 10:10am
2.5k – 10:30am
5/10k – 11:00am

This event has something to offer everyone. The 5/10k is an exciting and exhilarating flat, off road multi-terrain course for the experienced or novice runner alike. Our 2.5k/1k fun runs are great fun for all the family which is also open to any age group and all ability runners. We also have our usual free under 5’s 50m dash which has become so very popular, is amazing to watch and a great opportunity to cheer on the little ones.

The 5k/10k (2 loop 5k) begins in the idyllic grounds of the Cattle Country Park before heading out onto the flat, vast open space of the countryside. The 2.5k will take on half the 5k course before turning back for the grand finish at the Country Park. The 1k will also be an off road course, again taking in the beautiful grounds of the Country Park and will be on flat terrain. This is open to anyone of any age or ability who can either run, jog or walk around the course. This will also be buggy friendly. The under 5’s 50m will be on flat grass within the Adventure Play area of the Park.

The route will be fully marshalled and fully marked out with our usual run route signs, our orange marker flags plus eco – friendly temporary spray paint arrows on the floor.

All finishers will receive a medal.

There will be 10k prizes for the following categories:

Overall male 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Overall female 1st, 2nd and 3rd
1st Senior male and female
1st male and female V40
1st male and female V50
1st male and female V60+
1st male and female U20

There will also be male and female 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall prizes for the 5k race.

This event will be timed.

There will be a half way water/feed station for the 10k runners and the finishers table will have our usual treats, including fruit, sweets and cake!

The event will be fully marshalled and First Aid will be on standby throughout the event.

All entrants and spectators will have free access and entry to the Country Park.

There will be plenty of free parking, toilet facilities and there will be hot/cold food and beverages available for purchase within the Park.
