Those taking part in the Seagrave Wolds Challenge can Walk or Run, it is not a race and there are no prizes.
The is a time limit of 7hrs for walkers.
Good club runners complete the 16 mile course in under 2 hrs even if they are held up briefly at a Marshal road/rail crossings.
It is intended to be an tough challenge run or walk around Seagrave in Leicestershire taking in much of the rolling landscape and villages.
It is a multi terrain event and includes-some Private Land - Public Footpaths/Bridleways and some short sections of quiet road. Fell shoes or Walking boots please!!
The route is marked out with arrows and tape also showing miles markers, there are water stations and refreshments stops every 4 miles.
All road and rail crossings will be marshalled.
Certificates are available at finish if required.
Enter online-some entries may be accepted on the morning with cash payment only.
HQ opens at 7 am (Seagrave Village Hall)
Soup -Home made Apple Crumble, Custard and cakes will be served to all at Seagrave Village War Memorial Hall finish.
Procceds this year go to 'The Royal British Legion' Poppy Appeal
