The Hardcastle 24 is a six, twelve or twenty-four hour endurance event, for teams or solo runners, taking place round a 5km course in and around the incredibly beautiful wooded valley of Hardcastle Crags, near Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire.
Run in partnership with the National Trust, who manage the area, this is a highly exclusive event, limited to just 50 teams of runners and a handful of solo entries.
The event starts at 12 noon - giving you over 9 hours of running before the sun sets just after 9pm. Then it's 8 hours of torch-lit running before sun up at 5am and the final push for the finish at 12.00.
