Osterley Park 10k
Date / Time
Length
6.21 miles (10.0 km)
Description
Come and join us on Saturday 20th June 2015 at the second Osterley Park 10k in the grounds of this beautiful National Trust Park. A short hop from central London by tube but a world apart. Run down the tree-lined drive, past the grazing Charolais cattle and you’d think you’re in the country. Run through the surrounding private gardens, park and farmland in one of the last surviving country estates in London. Once described by Horace Walpole as ‘the palace of palaces’, Osterley was created in the late 18th century by architect and designer Robert Adam for the Child family to entertain and impress their friends and clients.
