The Black Country Run - 21st September 2014

Following the unprecedented success of the last 2 years’ inaugural Halesowen 5k Fun Run and The Great Black Country Run The Rotary Club of Halesowen & Rowley Regis are now planning an even bigger and better fun-filled community event for 2014.

Apart from having lots of fun on the day, our ultimate aim is to invest the funds raised from the event back into the local community through charitable donations. In our first year we managed to raise an amazing total of £6,000 which this Rotary Club was delighted to donate to our three nominated charities.

In 2013 the event surpassed all of our expectations and proved to be an even greater success. The Rotary club are extremely proud to announce that we finally raised in excess of £20,000 for charity. We are of course extremely grateful to everyone who raised money through their own sponsorships and our congratulations go to all of our worthy prize winners and especially to the three main prize winners who were:
