Welcome to the 2014 Sturminster Newton Half Marathon
The 2014 Stur Half, organised by the Dorset Doddlers will take place on Sunday, 3rd August, and we are pleased to say that the race will once again be part of the Dorset Road League.
Please note that this year we are an EARPHONE FREE RACE
The race will start at 10.30am from Station Road (DT10 1BB) in Sturminster Newton, North Dorset and the route follows country lanes in and around Sturminster Newton.
As well as the half marathon there will be a 5.5K race. We have decided to re-route this race and make it more friendly and will be open to anyone aged 13 and over.
We are delighted that once again the race is sponsored by Honeybuns, who make wonderful gluten free cakes that everyone loves. The race is also supported by many other local businesses..
