Description

Now in its twelfth edition, the annual Northbrook 10k road race follows a scenic, well-marshalled, traffic-free one lap course on rural roads around Allesley and Corley on the outskirts of Coventry.

The accompanying Fun Run is a 2km out and back course that is open to children up to age 15.

The event is staged to coincide with the last weekend of the Allesley Festival, and will be supporting Zoë's Place children's charity and various other local charities.

A program of carefully planned road closures keeps the course traffic-free when runners are present. There is an extensive prize list for the 10k race, and all Fun Run finishers receive a medal.

The race is also host to the Warwickshire County 10k Road Championships, and is the sixth race of the 2014 Warwickshire Road Race League.
