Length
26.20 miles (42.2 km)
Description
Set in the heart of the Highlands, the Fort William Marathon is a multi-terrain course that takes in some stunning scenery - including the Caledonian Canal and Neptune's Staircase, the Commando Memorial, Leanachan Forest and of course Ben Nevis!
For those who complete the course, we have a bespoke medal, finishers technical t-shirt and a very Scottish goody bag which includes (amongst other things) a Tunnocks Caramel Wafer and a miniature bottle of whisky from the Ben Nevis Distillery.
Entries will close no later than midnight on 30th June
The race will take you on an incredible 26 mile journey in the shadow of the UK's highest mountain Ben Nevis. You will run along part of the iconic Great Glen Way, Thomas Telford's Caledonian Canal and Neptune's Staircase.
This marathon will test your endurance and strength and reward you with stunning views of the Scottish Highlands. This marathon is not simply about the time and distance but about the journey you will take too...
