I think you need to make sure you do stretches after you have been out. I have suffered from knee propblems and did a lot of knee exercises which helped. Please look online for knee exercises. A simple one while watching tv and sitting down lift both legs and keep them in air height of knee do this for ten or twenty seconds. Then put one leg down and raise the other one keeping it  in air for twenty second then repeat with other leg. it works my knee didnt give me problems when running but sometimes played up when in house. hope this helps Brenda
