Description

A stunning new event held in the beautiful woodland of Wisley and Ockham Commons. The undulating course will wind you through the wonderful pine forests on this Surrey Wildlife Trust land. THIS RACE IS NOW FULL The race is just a stones throw away from the M25 / A3 junction which is easily accessible and there is ample event parking at the Royal Horticultural Society's Gardens at Wisley.

Did anyone else run the Pine Ridge 10K today? There was a good turnout considering this was the inaugral race and it was well organised and with chip timing. The weather was very challenging, though, with heavy rain and even hailstones for quite a time. This also made it pretty muddy but then thats to be expected for a November trail race and can add to the fun depending on your viewpoint! The only thing was that I only noticed one distance marker during the whole race which could be disconcerting for those that want to know how they are doing, but that may have just been me - perhaps too much looking at the ground and I didn't notice the others! The route has been added to the race lising for anyone who want to check their age graded percentage or just re-live the race!
