Lifestyle Renault Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon

Date / Time
Sunday, March 2, 2014
Length 13.10 miles (21.1 km)
Description
The Lifestyle Renault Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon is a testing, single-lap course through some of Kent's finest countryside. In 2009 the race won the Runner's World award for 'most improved event' in the UK and was ranked as the Country’s Number 2 Half Marathon in 2011. In 2012, Runner’s World readers rated the race as 96% overall and 97% would 'do it again'. Facilities include changing, toilets, refreshments, crèche and kids activities, supervised bag storage and electronic chip timing. Each runner will receive a bespoke race medal and technical t-shirt. The race sells out 2 months in advance, so enter early to avoid disappointment. There are NO entries on the day. Due to the nature of the course, traffic management and our marshal restrictions, we recommend that you do not enter the race if you think it will take you longer than 3 hours. Due to the hilly nature of the course, the race is regrettably unsuitable for wheelchair athletes. Pushchairs and dogs are not permitted. The Lifestyle Renault Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon is organised by volunteers from host club Tunbridge Wells Harriers and this is the 31st running of the event. All race profits are donated to selected charities. Our official main Race Charity for 2014 has yet to be selcted. However, as you go through the online race entry form you will get the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to certain charities. Thank you
