Race Guide
Guildford 10K and 2K Fun Run, Sunday 16th Oct 2022

Date / Time
Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 8:00 a.m.
Length 6.21 miles (10.0 km)
Description

Starting and finishing from the iconic, cobbled High Street, runners follow the closed-road route towards Clandon and along the Epsom Road.

Make a day of it - bring the kids and start off with a 2K run on closed roads to get you going!

Back for 2022, select team Red, White or Blue when entering and join forces on the day to battle it out against rival team colours on the course. Your team finish times will be combined and the team with the lowest time score will be declared WINNERS of the Guildford 10k 2022. What's the prize? Massive Kudos!

Event merchandise is available for purchase during registration for delivery by the following weekend when ordered by Sunday.

The Fun Run will finish prior to the start of the 10K. Children must be aged 6 or over to participate but buggies (or similar) are permitted for children aged 5 or under. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The road closure schedule will be posted approximately 6 weeks prior to the event.

All of our events are organised following government and governing body COVID-19 guidance. We will continue to ensure that we deliver safe and enjoyable events.

Entry on the day will not be available.

For event updates and future promotions, follow AAT Events on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You can also join our Strava club to see how your fellow competitors are training and compare your event day performance.

Licensing
The 10K is expected to be licensed with UK Athletics (UKA) and the results published by Run Britain shortly after the event.

Bib Numbers
Bib numbers are expected to be mailed to all participants who have registered with a valid UK address by midnight on the Sunday prior to the event. When a bib cannot be mailed due to an incomplete/invalid address - and in cases where it does not arrive - participants can collect a new/replacement bib at the event. Participants need not contact us with respect to non-receipt of their bib but should be prepared to show their booking confirmation on arrival if requested.

Results
Results will be uploaded live to our website (internet connection permitting) and communicated to all pre-registered participants within 24 hours of the event.

Rewards
All finishers will receive a medal on completing their event and, subject to a competitive field of participants, prizes may be available for the top three places overall - and the top place in each of the veteran categories (V40/V50/V60/V70) - for both females and males. Winners will be notified via email by the end of the following week once results are considered final. No prizes will be offered for the Fun Run.
