The Manchester Marathon will return to its traditional spring timing in 2022, with the date now confirmed for Sunday 3rd April.

With the 2021 edition (10th October) close to selling-out, and under a year to go until 2022, we are delighted to release a small allocation of Early Entries for next year at the bargain price of just £55*. These tend to sell extremely quickly, so once this capacity is gone we will seek to release further places at the usual price.

Following feedback from runners we are introducing a new Green Runner option, as well as the return of the popular relays. You can find the various entry types below. 

INDIVIDUAL ENTRY £55

This is your guaranteed ticket to the 2022 Manchester Marathon. Secures your entry at the best possible price. UK residents will have their entry pack posted to them. Finishers with this entry type receive a medal and t-shirt. A further £2 discount is available for UKA affiliated runners.

GREEN RUNNER £55

This is your individual entry (as above) but choosing to opt-out of the finishers medal and t-shirt. Instead of these items the Manchester Marathon will donate the money saved to a carbon offset programme.

CHARITY RUNNER £69

Choose to run for one of the official 2022 Manchester Marathon charities and help your challenge benefit others. By committing to fundraise you will also reduce the price of your entry. More details on the dedicated charity page.

2 PERSON RELAY £89

Split the 26.2 miles of the Manchester Marathon between two people, and conquer the challenge together. You'll each complete roughly half the distance (exact split to be confirmed) and receive a finishers medal and t-shirt for your efforts.

4 PERSON RELAY £109

Get a team of 4 runners together, and each complete part of the course, running roughly 10k each (exact splits TBC). You'll switch at designated spots on the course, with every member of the team receiving a finisher t-shirt and medal

2021 and 2022 DUO £120

If you're dedicated enough to run both the 2021 and 2022 Manchester Marathon you can sign up for both right now and receive a discount. This covers one person for the events on Sunday 10th October 2021, and Sunday 3rd April 2022
