What is the Bramham Park Fun Run?
The Bramham Park Fun Run is an annual 5K and 10K event held in Wetherby, Leeds every year in aid of Cancer Research UK. The Fun Run is an enjoyable morning with beautiful scenery and race options to suit all ages and abilities. Rally up your family, friends and colleagues and join us to support a great cause. Don't worry if you're not the fastest runner or the quickest walker, this race is about having fun!
All entrants will receive a finishers medal and goodies. Individual race times are published on our website. As a UKA licensed event, club affiliated runners race times are also included in the Run Britain handicap scoring updates and Power of 10 website.
On the day entrants have access to free parking, refreshments, child and adult face painting and children’s entertainment. We welcome supporters to cheer along their loved ones.
The history.
The run was launched in 1999 by Ann and Jeff Newton, a couple dedicated to raising money for Cancer Research UK. The first event had 66 runners and raised £1,400.
