After the disappointment of having to cancel the 2020 event, we are delighted to announce that the North Downs Run will take place on 27th June 2021.
This year the race will start from a new venue – the Cyclopark – a purpose-built facility for cycling and other outdoor activities in Gravesend.
The race will follow COVID-19 Government guidance for event organisers in order to keep participants and volunteers safe – including distancing, staggered starts and increased hygiene measures.
Entries are now open via the Run Britain website – https://bit.ly/3fhRzOX
British Masters
Since 2016 The North Downs Run has hosted the British Masters Multi-Terrain Championship. For more information about BMAF, visit their website. If you wish to be entered for this Championship you should enter via their site.
Runners who entered the 2020 event and agreed to defer their entry will be contacted shortly.
Thank you so much to all our supporters, helpers and marshals for your help in putting on this event.
This 30k race, now in its 37th year, starts in Gravesend, winds through farmland and orchards, towards Cobham Park and into the Cuxton Valley and includes the notorious Holly Hill (180m elevation). Which is why it’s known for being one of the toughest – but most beautiful – off-road races in the south East.
The time limit of 4 Hours 30 Minutes will be strictly enforced this year.
We are always looking for marshalls and helpers for this race. If you are available, please email volunteerndr@gmail.com
Headphones are not allowed on the North Downs Run (with the exception of Bone Conducting type).
The course is unsuitable for Wheelchairs.
Runners are not permitted to take dogs on the course.
