The Peak District Challenge offers five levels of difficulty: 10km (Back before Dark), then 25km (Copper), 50km (Bronze), 75km (Silver) or 100km (Gold Ultra). It's organised by Wilderness Development, an established outdoor activity company based in the Peak District.

Entry fees are just £21-71 depending on distance chosen, and there is NO fundraising commitment, and NO deductions from any charities' income.

It’s a race against the clock to see if you can cover 10km and be Back Before Dark, or complete the Copper Challenge in 9 hours, the Bronze challenge in 12 hours or the Silver or Gold Ultra distances within 24 hours

The routes all start at Hathersage and are loops.

On the way round, checkpoint volunteers monitor teams' safety and provide drinks and snacks along with motivation and encouragement! Water stations are provided, and for 25-100km routes all the refreshments along with a stew supper on Saturday evening are included in the price of your entry.
