Tissington Trail Half Marathon
Date / Time
Length
13.10 miles (21.1 km)
Description
The Tissington Trail Half Marathon has established itself as a real favourite with runners, often selling out months in advance, and we hold this race on two dates across one weekend to accommodate as many runners as possible. We're proud that the race regularly features in the Runner's World top 10 UK trail races.
The Tissington Trail, the site of a former railway line from Ashbourne to Buxton, runs along a 13 mile route from Parsley Hay to Ashbourne in Derbyshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside the traffic-free trail is ideal for a cracking half marathon and, because the route is slightly downhill all the way, you've got gravity on your side!
This race features chip timing, a quality bespoke medal for all finishers, plus well-stocked aid stations and finish line goodies! Commemorative finisher's technical t-shirts will also be available to purchase.
Prizes from the event are generously sponsored by Big Bobble Hats who will be present on the day of the event.
