Asda Foundation Derby Half Marathon
Date / Time
Length
13.10 miles (21.1 km)
Description
Organised by Run For All for the first time in 2018, the Asda Foundation Derby Half Marathon – formerly known as the Ramathon - proved to be a welcome addition to Run For All’s events calendar, attracting thousands of runners and raising tens of thousands of pounds for good causes.
And the good news is that it’s back in 2020 and promises to be even bigger and better. It boasts an exciting new city centre start and finish in Iron Gate close to Derby Cathedral, which will further enhance the event’s already vibrant atmosphere.
Popular features including Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium, Alvaston Park and Elvaston Castle Country Park remain as key elements of the new-look course.
And as well as being the pride of Derby, runners crossing the finish line can look forward to some top-quality souvenirs including a bespoke T-shirt, medal and goody bag containing some excellent post-race treats.
