Description

Following the success of the new route for 2017, the Cultural route will be back in 2018. Starting in West Park, notable features include city landmarks such as Queen Victoria Square – home to the Ferens Art Gallery and Maritime Museum; the Old Town, The Deep, Victoria Dock, Spurn Lightship and the Marina, Albert Dock and the Humber Bridge. The varied course also includes West Park, East Park, Pickering Park, Peter Pan Park and a lap of Costello Stadium. The marathon and relays will finish inside the KCOM Stadium where spectators will have a great view of the finishing line and be able to cheer on the runners from the comfort of the stands.

The main awards ceremony will take place at 3pm (tbc) at the Event HQ. There will be awards for the following categories: 1st three males 1st three females 1st three Relay Teams 1st male over 40 winner and runner up 1st male over 50 winner and runner up 1st male over 60 winner and runner up 1st male over 70 winner and runner up 1st female over 40 winner and runner up 1st female over 50 winner and runner up 1st female over 60 winner and runner up 1st female over 70 winner and runner up 1st Club and runner up club Team Club Prize Details of prize money to be announced shortly.
