Description

Rennie Grove Hospice Care's most vibrant event, Colour Blast: The Scramble is set to return to the stunning surroundings of the Penn House Estate, Amersham on Sunday 24 September.  This exciting event is proudly sponsored by Origin Global.

After an energetic warm up, the family friendly 1k run sets off at 10am and will feature bursts of colourful paint and mini obstacles designed for children and adults to enjoy.  This fun-sized challenge is just £10 and is open to all ages with under 4s going free.

If you prefer a bigger challenge for yourself, there is a full 5k starting at 10:45am with adult sized obstacles and plenty of coloured powder, priced at £25 (over 12s only).  Both are guaranteed to have you wearing a coat of many colours when you pick up your medal at the finish line!

All participants will receive a t-shirt and a pair of funky sunglasses that MUST be worn to protect your eyes from the coloured powder.

Last year over 500 people came together to get blasted with colour and the charity hopes even more people will sign up for 2017!  Rennie Grove provides 24/7 responsive hospice at home care to local patients with cancer and other life-limiting illness and other services to support patients and their families.  All proceeds from Colour Blast: The Scramble will go towards funding these services, which are offered at no cost to patients or their families
