Description

The Redcar Half Marathon Events for 2017 once again will include the INEOS sponsored 1 mile Go Run For Fun, the Beacon 5k as well the wheelchair half marathon.

Provional Timetable: Fun Run 9:30, Beacon 5k and Wheelchair Race 9:55, Half Marathon 10:00

The half marathon has a potentially fast course given the right conditions. With a start that takes you along Majuba Road on to the Trunk Road and returning to head off towards Marske before returning to finish outside Tuned In. We hope to attract runners of all abilities, however if you are unable to cover the first mile without walking then we would strongly advise you to enter the Beacon 5k event instead. Minimum Age 17.
