Hoylake 10k Coastal Run

Description

The course is a mirror image from the start to the turn point (5K) and back to the finish.

The run starts opposite Hoylake Community Centre, along the sea front North Parade Promenade with majestic views, dropping onto the Meols embankment for a short distance, joining the Wirral Coastal Trail and through the gates, through Leasowe Lighthouse car park which also has a drink station, and back onto the embankment towards Leasowe Castle Hotel. At the 5K marker, runners then return back along the same route.

 

The course is reasonably flat with markers at every km. RAYNET radio marshals & St John Ambulance are positioned along the route.
