Description
Telford Harriers would be delighted to welcome you as a competitor in the 2017 Ironbridge Half Marathon (#IHM2017)
Our route takes you from the heart of Telford on a tour through history. Starting at the arena in Telford Town Park, running through the Town Park and down the Silkin Way, run past Blists Hill Museum and Coalport China Museum into the Severn Gorge. You follow the old Severn Valley railway line past Maws craft centre and the Tile Works/Museum. Once you have crossed the worlds first Iron Bridge you run over the Ironbridge itself, through Coalbrookdale and Rough Park back up onto the Silkin Way to the arena.
Whatever your goal, don't forget to take a little time to take in the beauty of the Ironbridge Gorge and enjoy yourself, after all that is what running is all about.
