After another successful event in 2016 the event will once again take place in 2017.  A stunning half marathon event taking runners on a historical and scenic tour of Weymouth's dramatic past and landscape.  In 2016 we reached our expected number of 1500 runners, an increase of 300 runners from 2015. Once again we have set the limit at 1500 so be sure to enter early to avoid disappointment.

In it's first 2 years we have seen a 50-50 split between women and men, with competitors ranging from 17 to 80. This 1-lap half marathon is a must do run for individuals of all abilities.   

For those who don't feel ready to complete the half marathon as an individual, there is the option to complete the event as a relay team with a family member or friend where one runner will complete an 8 mile run and the second runner 5 miles.

We will once again be supporting Weldmar Hospice who are delighted to be the Official Charity Partner for Weymouth Half Marathon for a second year. Runners who decide to raise money for Weldmar will be eligible for a refund on their entry fee if they raise £50.00 or more as an individual or £60.00 or more as a relay.

As with all of our events, this half marathon will be will be fully signed and be expertly marshaled, with feed stations and full medical support and an amazing race experience for all competitors.

Whether you are a competitive club runner, a charity runner, a fun runner, a social runner or a slow runner, as long as you move forward, we look forward to welcoming you to the 2017 Weymouth half marathon start and finish line.

We have listened to previous participants and have chosen to makes some changes to improve the course for 2017. The updated course will be available to view soon!
