This is the fourth Bassingbourn 'brainstrust' Half Marathon, following successful races in 2014 , 2015 and 2016 that attracted 200 , 310 and 440 runners respectively. The official race charity is Brainstrust, a brain cancer charity, in memory of the organisers dad, who lost his battle to the disease in December 2013. This is a flat course so perfect for those new to the distance or those looking to smash their pbs! This is a rural race which takes in the villages of Bassingbourn, Litlington, Abington Piggots, Guilden Morden and Steeple Morden. 12 miles on road and 1 mile off road a long a grass track.
