I've been feeling the same, Lisa. I think I left my mojo in the pocket of my man-suit, which I discarded somewhere around mile 17 at Chester a couple of weeks ago.

I'm still not back to my usual self, running wise, but I'm getting there, and so will you. Deep down, you probably know that.

I like Mike's comment about the neighbours - make that your mantra!

Believe me we all have off days when the trainers feel like blocks of pig iron and we breathe like traction engines! My best half marathon result in March 2011 is 7 minutes better than one I ran a month ago! How does that happen? Apart from injury and staleness and, and , and.

So I just took a week or two off and am now raring to go..

One bad result doesn't define your whole persona as a runner. When you get back just run in the fresh air and forget the pace and time as others have said. Run slooowly and you'll feel better about being outside when 95% of your neighbours are watching Corrie/East Enders/X factor/Strictly Delete as appropriate :)

I dont know what is happening to me i seem to have lost my mojo, ran Cardiff Half last week and it was a total struggle and I came in much slower than last year when I chatted and laughed all the way round. Today I went out and huffed and puffed all the way round my normal 6.8k run, will I ever improve?????? Have done hill and sprints and strength but am still fat and useless please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
