I'll double it then Dave, that was a rubbish T-shirt, but the rest of the goody bag was sound. In my opinion the single best improvement was installing the choke point before the start line which then allowed free running across the start not like last year where there was an unofficial choke point 50m after the start.

Makes a change - I've only heard one single complaint about this year's race, and that was about the T-shirt!

Thanks for the jelly babies Dave they were just what I needed. The time was a bit rubbish though coming in at around 1:41:18 which is 7 mins down on last year. But then again I've only been running for the last two weeks after my back injury stopped me running completely for over 2 weeks previously, and my last substantial long run was 13 miles was 6 weeks ago so can't complain really.

Jelly babies are good Dave, I'll try and look out for you around where the parkrun usually congregate, if we start on time at 10am I should be coming through around the hour mark.

See you then.

Erm... how about a jelly baby?

Watch for a red bowl around mile 9, everyone - jelly babies and fruit pastilles! (Hugs extra)

If you're anything like me at Chester, Derek, with 4 miles to go you'll be happy to have a pitstop, but hopefully you'll keep on trucking through!

It might be difficult to keep the teacakes toastie, but I should have some sort of goodies, if you get to me quick enough;)

I'll be cheering you all on in Cannon Hill Park, near the station (parkrun central). Good luck everyone!
