how do i add a treadmill run to my training planner? or if it isnt possible yet, would it be possible to add the option, maybe under the easy/tempo/race bit would be an idea. i know the option is there when you actually log the run as done but its not in the training planner. Currently & especially due to the lack of daylight now, i am having to complete uo to 2 runs a week on the treadmill at the gym and i like to plan my weeks/months runs/gym sessions in advance |

Hi Emma, The Treadmill option when logging a run is one of then options under Terrain. We don't capture Terrain when planning a run. However, you can just type "Treadmill" into the Route field when entering your planned run. John |

This week I bought a "footpod" for my Garmin Forerunner 305 which works great for logging my run on the treadmill. I usually run outside but with the weather as its been lately a few treadmill runs wont go amiss. However, when I upload the Garmin data to the training log, only the length of time run is captured. No date, length of run or lap data are tranferred to GRG. All relevant data is transfered to Garmin Training Centre. Is this a problem that's been highlighted previously? Obviously I can, and did, enter my data manually in my training log. |

Yes i also run a lot on the treadmill and have to log the run splits manually. i use the 305 without the footpod and simply split each time teh treadmill tells me I've done a k or whatever interval i want to record my time at. We are aware its someting we need to sort out and its simply a matter of priorities and time. Hopefully we can get around to it sometime soonish. |
