Hi Emma,

Anything is possible and you still have plenty of time. Just make sure you run at least 3-4 times a week and gradualy increase your distance. If you manage a 5 mile run a week before then you will certainly be able to run the extra 1.2 mile on the day. Just dont increase your distances to quick and dont woory about time. Just enjoy and you will be fine.

I am entered into the Race for Life 5K next sunday and have found a 10K race on the 14th August, do you think it will be possible to increase my abilities in that short a timescale? if does nayone have any ideas on a training schedule for it? (i can & have already managed 3.7 miles but very slowly)
