STARTED WALKING 26TH DEC 2010,UNABLE TO RUN 200YDS !,GOT INSPIRATION FROM LOOKING GRG.MEASURED COUPLE OF ROUTES USING GUIDE,NOW GO OUT EVERY OTHER DAY(WHEN POSSIBLE :) ).NEARLY COMPLETED 180 MILES!!,IF YOU SAID TO ME A YEAR AGO I WOULD BE EXERCISING ON A REGULAR BASIS,MY MATES WOULD HAVE LAUGHED OUT VERY LOUD.STILL PROUD OF BECOMING A NON SMOKER,3MONTHS,THIS I COULD NOT HAVE ATTEMPTED WITHOUT MY RUNNING REGIME.REALLY ENJOY GETTING OUT ALONG THE RIVER TOWPATH,EVEN WIFE AND DAUGHTER FOLLOWING MY FOOTSTEPS,WE ALL OWN HRMS NOW :) .THANKS TO EVERYBODY WHO HAVE GIVEN ME ADVICE AND ENCOURAGEMENT,WILL UPDATE WHEN I COMPLETE MY 1ST RACE IN AUGUST.
