Cool, thanks John. Anything to make those 20-milers a bit easier!

Hi guys,

I'm currently planning out a number of fairly long runs, and trying to avoid hills as much as possible. Is there any way I can view a hill profile, before actually saving the route?

For example, while I'm plotting a 20 mile route, it'd be really useful to be able to track the hill profile as I go along, so that I can get a real 3D picture of what my route will be like and make adjustments to it as I go along, if needed.

At the moment I input the whole route, save it, and then view it - which isn't the end of the world, but a bit time-consuming if I find that it's laden with hills, as I then have to re-plot it. It'd be brillo if there was a way to avoid having to do it.

Many thanks

Burtie
