All eyes on the results of Crystal Palace Parkrun then (no pressure then Keith!) but seriously I belive its a good idea to get in an early benchmark as then its fun improving on that.

Don't muck up the Canon Hill results either Dave!

Good luck to all...and remember there is always another one next week!

Personally Due to injury i'll be watching the Surrey League..Go Ranelagh Harriers!

Thanks Andy! We do ask that runners (and joggers, walkers etc) register in advance and bring their personal barcode along, but if you forget, tell the volunteer at registration and we'll still do our best to accommodate you. You may appear in the results as 'Unknown Runner' though!

Good luck Keith, and to all parkrunners on Saturday. I'll be operating the timer at Cannon Hill parkrun in South Birmingham, and I'm also learning to work the results system, so good luck to me too!

Don't forget Parkrun require you to register on their website and get a barcode printed off so you can get an official time.

Hi All,

Ran my normal 3.5 miles again last night and it was much better. Felt great from start to finish and whilst it wasn't a PB for that distance i did knock 1min 25 of my last time. Out again Friday night and hopefully another improvement.

Hi Keith,

I no how you feel mate. I always seem to be ill just when ive decided to start a training schedule. Im off out again tonight, although still not feeling 100% but cant keep put it off. I will stick with my 3.5m route for a couple of weeks just to build back up then hopefully towards the end of Jan start pushing a bit further.

Its getting harder. Just been out again and ran 3.5 miles and really struggled, although i was pretty rough over the weekend with some sort of bug. Gonna up my runs from now on to 4 a week and hopefully a few forest runs. Roll on the spring.

Don't do yourself down, Mark - 1:50 is more than respectable!
