Should FIT file uploads show maps based on data collected? If not, then what's a better upload format to use?

Hi. I've been uploading FIT files recently, downloaded from the TomTom site, and it's really only just occurred to me that I'm not seeing maps of the routes in GRG. Is it expected behaviour that the route is not mapped?

The Activity Profile (GRG Log Book detail) shows Pace and Heart Rate, but not Hill data.

I don't know what's in a FIT file, so it's entirely possible that there's no GPS data, though that strikes me as unexpected.

The TomTom site also offers downloads in GPX and TCX format. Would one of those formats be better with regard to map data for GRG?

Ultimately I'd like to be able to convert the GPS data into a Route and save it, though of course I could manually map the route and use that.

Thanks,
Anthony.

Turns out that .GPX files are a better bet (for me, at least).
