Hi, I have a couple of runs from this week that have uploaded to Garmin with no problem but are not showing on GRG. Other runs before and after the 2 missing ones transfered with no issues is there some thing i can do to transfer them manually from Garmin i hate to be missing them from my log book. They transfered to other websites from Garmin so i can't see it as being an issue with Garmin changing something.  Any help much appreciated.

Liz

Hi Liz.  I don't know why that is, but I've reprocessed your files for last week.  Have you got them all now or are you still missing some?

I have been having a little play around and have managed to import the TCX file from Garmin connect so everthing is in my log book now.

Thank you

I have just run my first Marathon in Edinburgh this weekend and was gutted to find that my watch has not synced with GRG. I cansee the details on the watch. I have hadproblems in the past and have removed permission for syncing with GRG as advised GRG, waited a day or two then set it up again with Garmin. Can you retrive sunday's run for me so I can have all the details in my log book - thank you?

Hi Julie.  I can see the Edinburgh Marathon in your log book, so I assume it came through Ok after a while?  Well done on the Marathon by the way!

No, Im afraid it didn't upload. I just manually entered the distance and time but of course I can't show the splits, age graded etc as the route hasn't transferreed.

That's a shame.  I'm afraid you may have to go through the process again of re-synching, but you have to delete any previous connections through Garmin Connect first.   This should happen immediately so you shouldn't have to wait.   Sorrythat you seem to have been through this before, I don't know why this has happened again.

This has  happened on several occaions now - where does the problem lie - with GRG or Garmin?

I'm sorry I really don't know.  The process is set up automatically between their site and ours.  The problem usually occurs when a member has set up multiple connections to us.  This can happen if someone thinks its not synching (perhaps takes a while to come through) and then re-synchs.  For example I have to launch Garmin Express each time to force the run through, which shouldnt' be needed, but it just seems like my Garmin won't connect without doing this. If I didn't know I could easily try re-synching again and then it would never work until I deleted all the synchs on the Garmin site.   Or sometimes there are 2 runners using the same PC with different Garmin Connect accounts.  In this case the if they are logged into the other account that isn't synched with us then it won't go through.
