To run a 10KM race under 50mins. Easier said than done! Need to lose some weight and get some more running done! |

I did a marathon on New Year's Eve and also a 100K run/walk back in September, so my goal is just to enjoy the cross country season for the meanwhile and keep my fitness up for some shorter races. |

I'm looking to run more frequently, which will hopefully increase my fitness. Keep training with my club to help me become faster. Keep enjoying Parkruns.
What about you Antony? |

My goal is just to finish my first marathon in less than 4 hours. Currently booked in to run Manchester Marathon in April. Seems a big goal at the moment as I've only run halfs before. Fi Fi, I have been having technique coaching too, seems to be working though tough it is showing results. No joint pain afer longer runs...which is nice. |

Looks like our goals are fairly similar Antony - let's spur each other on! |

Well done! Which one was it? What's your next in the list? |

Yes I bet you are but have you measured the route by hand on the site? Did they have an official course measurement? Sometimes Garmins aren't perfect! |

Just had a look - seems it has been measured by someone using GRG, and it seems it came out as 12.66 miles, with a flat equivalent of 13.13 miles (not sure if the club measurement was done before or afterwards) http://www.goodrunguide.co.uk/SharedRoutes/408185

Looks like the flat equivalent is full distance! |

Agreed, that is very annoying. We did the Malta half marathon a couple of weeks back, and even though I'm just a plodder (did it in 2:17:28), I'd be gutted if a race was found to be 'short' after the event. For me, it's onwards to the Chester half in May, where I want sub 2:15, with a hankering for sub 2:10 (hell, we can all dream!) |
