Hi Emma - It might be a problem with your Flash plugin in your browser.  It could be disabled or out of date.  Maybe try to download the latest Flash Player version or try another browser.

Delighted that my Garmin data is now uploading automatically and recognising my favourite running routes and races.  Makes a big difference to the way I follow my progress.  Thanks!

Hi Emma - I've had a look at a couple of runs from your Log Book and the hill profile on the Splits Analyser seems to appear for me!  Can you give me an example of a run where it isn't working please?

When i access a run via the log book and then the graph icon the Splits Analyser does not show the Hill profile I do have the hill profile button ticked in the splits analyser and when i click on the date and go to the next page the bottom graph also does not show the hill profile but if i click for a larger hill profile it will bring it up. is there a box im missing to get this or is there a tweak you can/need to do?

Hi Vicky - thanks for flagging these issues up.  I've found the problem with the bike ride not being recognised correctly and have put in a fix, so hopefully next time you do a bike ride will appear correctly in your Log Book.  On the shoes issue, we made a change recently to remove shoes from the list that were not being used on the date of the run, but we based this on the date the shoes were added to your training log, so that is what has caused them to not appear, as we didn't consider that people might add shoes retropsectively!  I've changed this now so that it also takes into consideration the date the shoes were purchased, so if they are still not appearing when you edit the run, check that the Date Purchased for the shoes in the Shoe Tracker is before the date of the run. Let me know if you're having problems though.

Hi, another observation I've had using the automatic upload. I went out for a bike ride on Saturday, but it'uploaded to my log book as a run - I did have my watch set to bike profile, not run, and it uploaded as a bike ride on the garmin site. Another slightly unrelated question is, I bought a new pair of trainers recently. I've added them to my shoe tracker with the date I bought them, but on trying to go back and edit the details for some runs (as I've not have much chance to do this recently) it won't let me select those trainers for run I did in them - it's only showing up pre-existing trainers shoes. Is this because although I had bought the shoes at this point it took a couple of days before I had chance to log on and add them to my shoe tracker but my runs had automatically uploaded in the meantime? Any chance of changing this?

thanks

Unfortunatley there isn't really an opportunity to add extra information to the data being uploaded as the process is fully automated.  It should be easy to add this once the run is uploaded though - notes for runs can be added by clicking Edit in your Log Book.  I must admit it's a bit harder to get to the page to edit the notes for a route, so we could possibily add a shortcut link to this somewhere if ths would help.
