OVERVIEW

This park has a schizophrenic nature. The North is typical parkland with a flat open grass area, childrens playground, playing fields, cafe and lake with duck feeding areas. The other half of the park consists of a steep elongated wooded hill crossed by numerous, and often steep, dirt tracks with good views from the top ridge. When Reigate Priory Runners host the Surrey League Cross Country race here the course consists of two 2.5 mile hilly loops. A tough course indeed.
