OVERVIEW

The 80ha park has been mainly formed on the site of former colliery spoil tips and lies in the shadow of the headstocks of Clipstone Colliery. Having said that it is suprisingly scenic and good mostly gravel paths make for a 2 mile flat run around the perimeter or hillier routes across the centre.
