The club was founded in 1986, during the boom years of running, with veterans in mind.(Members must be over 35) The name of the club NOTFAST Newark Over Thirty Fives And Still Trying embodies the spirit of the club. The club meets twice a week,on Tuesday night at Woods Court Residential Home, off Walker Close, Newark and on Thursday night at Flowserve Sports and Social Club, off Hawton Lane, Balderton, at 7-00 pm.
