Cornwall Athletic Club- voted England Athletics "South West Club of the Year 2011" and Cornwall SP's "Adult Club of the Year 2011"- was established in 1984 and offers a full range of Track and Field events, under the supervision of qualified coaches. There is a strong Road Running section and in the winter Cross Country features prominently, whilst younger members take part in the popular Sportshall Athletic Meetings. Members meet at Carn Brea Leisure Centre and main training takes place on Tuesday evenings throughout the year. Other training sessions are also arranged. All abilities welcome.
