My Forerunner 305 gave up the ghost recently and I've replaced with a Suunto Ambit 2 which is a great GPS watch but I can't upload to the Good Run Guide. all I seem to be able to do is export the data to a GPX file and then import the file but it only includes the minimum of data and loses lap times, route details etc. which is a shame. Am I missing something? Is there a chance the site could be developed to import directly from Suunto Ambit watches? The Ambit 2 watch is brilliant though. I'm really pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend it. |

I just bought a Tom Tom runner 2 and am hugely disappointed. When you buy it you are prompted to upgrade to the new v1.2.0 software, which I did, but the software has a bug in it that affects the GPS accuracy. I have been losing 2 miles from a 16 mile run, and many others have reported the same. By the way my lovely watches is Sturhling http://jonsguide.org/best-top-stuhrling-watches-reviews/ Also Seiko's JDM SARB line is great quality and well as the SKX watches. |

Hi, my Garmin Forerunner 910XT has just given up and I have decided to get a Foerunner 735XT. Has anyone else any experience of uploading to GoodRunGuide via Garmin Connect? |

A quick update from my question of 2 days ago. The Garmin Forerunner 735XT does not come with an ANT stick and it does not sync up to the one I currently have despite the advert I saw saying it was ANT compatible. However - it comes with a USB and cable that clips to the watch for charging which also syncs witt Garmin Connect and flows straight through to GoodRunningGuide. It has actaully worked better than with the ANT stick, and the watch is very intuative to use. You can sync to your phone, but I decided not to use that for now. There is a great deal of functionality that you can use with this watch that I have not yet explored, but it recorded a run with ease, is monitoring my heartrate from my wrist, and has replaced my Garmin Vivofit as well for Steps and Sleep. So far it has been a good buy. |
