Hi Andrew,

First off - well done on your first two HMs & congratulations on your choice for your third - BBCHM (AKA the 'Marmite Run', because you either love it of hate it) is a fantastic event (yes, I'm in the 'Love it' camp!).

I've done 'that other Birmingham half marathon' three times, the Shakespeare full twice and half once. and BBCHM three times. It's very different to the other two, but much more fun! Unfortunately I won't be running this year as my running buddy talked me into doing the Humber Bridge HM instead, but I'll come along anyway, and probably marshal or something.

Anyway, in answer to your question, yes it is possible, though not exactly intuitive!

This is what you need to do:

  1. From the main menu choose 'Routes and Races',
  2. From the drop-down list select 'Races' and
  3. From the sub-menu select 'Race Routes'.
  4. Click on the 'Member Race Routes' tab,
  5. Type something in the 'Search Phrase' box ('black country', works) and
  6. Click the 'Go' button.
  7. To the far right of the listing, you'll see a 'Copy' button. I think this somewhat tortuous route is the only way to find this button!
  8. Click the 'Copy' button and
  9. Click 'OK' to confirm that you want to copy it to your saved routes.

You should now be able to edit it as usual!

Good luck with the run - hope it goes well.
