Just wondering if anyone has suggested having a 'seasons best' time for each of our logged running routes, as well as our normal PB for the route.

I am finding, that due to a couple of seasons of injuries I have struggled to get close to the sort of times I was logging a couple of years ago and having a best time for this year would give me a more realistic target to aim for I think.

Sorry if this has been covered before but I couldn't find any other relevent topics when I searched!

Would be interested to know if anyone else thinks that this would help them too? :)

Ann, I have to admit, I've been doing just that for the past several years. PB's I achieved a lifetime ago are interesting as a historical record but have little interest to me on a season by season basis. At least it gives me an achievable goal at each of my runs and maintains the fun of running.

That's a very good suggestion Ann.

Yes, that is a good suggestion.  Thanks Ann.  We'll see what we can do but we have a few other developments lined up meanwhile.

Is there any news on the Seasons Best flag to go along with the Personal Best one yet? almost all of my PB's were in 2012/2013 and i am not running anywhere as quick this year....yet!

also on a similar vein would it be possible to add a sort button to the top 20 Age Gradings to be able to get this years top 20 instead of just showing the overall top 20?

We're working on this right now, so should have something to announce on this fairly soon.

Thank you John. I love GRG and the way it has developed since I joined. I think this will be another really useful addition to the site. I also agree with Emma that multiple ways of sorting data are always welcome but I appreciate that these things all take time and effort to achieve so a thought for the future maybe. Thanks to all at GRG for keeping things up to date and user friendly. :)

I'm pleased to say that we've done this now.  More details on the Member News post.  Thanks again for suggesting this.

John
