Yes its tricky as each different watch drops your data to a different place. However once you locate the GPX or FIT file then the upload tool on GRG should work fine for the most important data anyway. I wasn't getting splits off the Tom Tom but simply using the generate splits function on GRG..... but now i have fond how to do splits on the watch I'll see if it works for me...

Didnt go for the tom tom.Read reviews on the Polar M400,and so far all good.Has lots of training data available via Polar Flow.Only problem was downloading data to computer, and i have traced this to faulty USB cable.Only thing i am unable to download direct to GRG,someone did explain it to me,but regards computers i am the original Dinosaur :) Using it for HR training at moment,so i can run easy, and not burn my old legs out.I know there is two files tx + ?,but when my daughter tried both, data was missing from the other file, and vice versa.Must say Polar respond a lot quicker than Garmin help site ever did.

Hi People,

Having always had various Garmin GPS watches I recently ended up with a Tom Tom one which is quite different but after a bit of fiddling around and questions to the support team have figured out how to download a GPX file and Fit File which can be easily uploaded to the GRG website. One of the great advantages of the GRG logbook is you save all your data from all different sources in one place rather than different palces for each device.

The jury is out on the Tom Tom watch as far as i am concerned though with a few issues i haven't come to terms with yet, such as battery life, split times and heart rate recording.
