Since I was upgraded to Garmin Express and Garmin Conect has gone all fancy I can no longer upload my Garmin stats to Goodrunguide. Can you let me know how I do this now

I've had a quick look into this and it appears that when you install Garmin Express, any files that are read from the device are stored in a different location on your computer and can no longer be found by the Garmin Communicator plugin that we use to upload to GRG.  The only workarounds at present seem to be:

a) Uninstall Garmin Express

b) Upload the files to GRG manually (either FIT or TCX files), either directly from the device it is has a USB connection or the from the folder where the files are stored on your computer if it uses wireless transfer - I believe the folder locations for wireless devices are:

Windows - c:\ProgramData\Garmin\GarminConnect\[device id]\Upload\

Mac - /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Garmin/GarminConnect/Device Name-Serial Number/Upload/

where the device id is the id of your device.

c) Upload the data to Garmin Connect first, then export it from there as a a TCX file and import the TCX file to GRG (using the Import from GPS File option)

I'll report back if I find out any more information or have any news about a longer term solution.

Thanks for this but I can't uninstall Garmin Express as I need it for my other Garmin devices, I use it to keep them uptodate and get new maps.  Hopefully you will get a fix for this soon

If you need to keep Garmin Express I think the only options for the meanwhile are to transfer the data manually from TCX or FIT files as per options b and c below.

I'll see if we can find out more information from Garmin - there really needs to be a fix from Garnin for the Garmin Communicator plugin, so that it can find the files in their new location.

I had the same problem and manually uploaded at first.  Since then I've found on my Garmin device in settings, a 'force send' feature.  If I use this whilst my ANT stick is connected and I'm on this web site, it uploads the information ok.
