Some weeks go well for getting out running and some just dont! You have done the groundwork and often they say your body should have a rest before a race. So i say go for it what does it matter just say its a trining run and take the pressure off yourself. Eat well and drink lots of water all week and your body will do what it should on race day. Good luck you will be fine. Brenda |

Newts - all you can is your best on the day. You have one simple thing to do - put your toes on the start line. If you do that, you're a winner. The loser's are the ones who stay at home, can't train, won't train etc etc No-one but you will know how satisfying it will feel to get round in whatever time it takes - no one will judge you, we will all applaud because you have shared your personal challenges with us. I'm in the happy position of no longer having the constraints you mention - I just run! One day you'll be there and there will be nothing stopping you. Good luck! |
