I'm going through the PF thing at the moment and it's soooo boring!  I'm on month four and still no better.  Trying a new physio a month.  Question - has anyone had any success with cortisone injections for Plantar Faciitis?  I hear it's a miracle cure (if painful at the time at injection) but that was from a non-runner and I want to know it's going to last and not stuff things up long term.

Some good advice there from Simon. I'd never heard of those socks. When my wife got Plantar F. the advice was get some arch supposrt for your everyday shoes to give the stretched tendon a chance to heal. Hey presto, it worked a treat within a couple of weeks.
