Hi everyone, post illness I have managed a 5 miler( which was a slow one) then a fast 3 miler with a running buddy on monday, this was a good test, and then I did my 11 miler last wednesday and I could have done more! then to top it all did a 7 mile cross country hilly one yesterday, needless to say I feel every bit as good as I did before my illness, bring on the half  marathon in 4 weeks time!! thanks everyone for you support and helpful comments, Sarah :)

Did my first run today after a  10 day break, went slower and only 5 miles, feel good that I done it a big mental breakthrough. Hopefully by next wed after another short run on Monday I will be able to do my 10.8 that I had previously prepared for.  Do you think that is too ambitious, I am eating again and its staying in which is a far cry from a week ago !

I have had really bad D & V since Saturday am, its easing off now,  however I was intending on doing a 11 miler on saturday, i am concerned as to when I should start running again and for how long, due to not eating energy levels will be down, i am thinking of running on thursday morning, what do you think I should do? I have a half marathon on the 12th December and so do not want to   get out of conditon
