All I can say is after trying other things to log distance and time etc nothing beats gps watch. I know they are expensive but since I have had my Garmin Forerunner (a few years now - so is value for money overall) it has made a vast difference to me. Having a accurate record and leaving nothing to guesswork means that even my small improvements show.

Good choice Rebecca. Its really motivating knowing the accuarate distance.

As for JLS I'm with you but I think you'll find many young people can take wall to wall JLS but wouldn't be too impressed with wall to wall 80's electronica! Or indeed 90's grunge.
